Simply put, Fila Cacao is not a "Free Ride." Like hundreds of other rural roads in Costa Rica, local government does not maintain our road. It's up to all property owners to work together and share the costs to keep it safe and solid. This website is dedicated to raising awareness and support for this voluntary effort. We invite all to join in because without a good road, you're going nowhere.
